JUST A THOUGHT!

Image
Do you ever feel depressed because of your surroundings?  Because you are taking months after months to get yourself prepared and ignore your friends and family are so fed up with you because they think no exam should be given like this like in a closed-door preparation and they start pinching you about your dream?  Many people also suggest you start a job at Starbucks, McDonald's, or in someplace they suggest. Because they think at least in the way you are doing "something". Sometimes you feel like your heart is sinking and feeling worthless. I think a lot of people can relate but you must keep going. Everything will pan out well.  1) Understand that you will be able to actually DO something more useful if you know more. Becoming a DOCTOR, IAS, or IITian and after some years and healing others, framing policies and advising ministers, making our society better respectively is going to help many more people than working at Starbucks, McDonald's. 2. Learn as if you w...

HEALTH DISPARITY IN RURAL INDIA

Image
It was a bright and sunny day. The sun shone brilliantly in the clear, blue sky. "Good morning ", said a pregnant woman of 32 weeks named Bindu said in her local language who came for a routine checkup. "How are you feeling", I asked her. She told me that nowadays it is really difficult to breathe and she feels pretty tired these days told her it is common to feel these symptoms. I checked her body temperature, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and pulse. I examined her to know about the fetal breech position and auscultated fetal heartbeat through a stethoscope. After clinical examination, I asked her to do a USG scan, urine test, etc. After 2 hours, the pregnant lady came with the required reports. She asked me anxiously "Is everything normal?". I answered her "The fetus is completely healthy inside her womb. Don't worry". She felt very happy. Even the smile of the patient gives us a good vibe and uplifts our positive mind. I...

WHAT WOMAN FACE IN SOCIETY

Image
I'm not a feminist, I'm a humanist addressing it, From the chauvinistic attitude in India, people used to greet the birth of a baby, sadness in the case of a girl. Some girl baby even get killed before coming out of the mother's womb. (female infanticide)  From an early age, Little boys are given cars while girls get dolls. The former encouraged to  build things, become scientists, The latter learn to do household chores and care for others. (status of women in family) Girls are even restricted  to go tonight tuitions, fearing some sort of rape or molestation may take place.(Taking away freedom) A girl wearing a saree or kurti is called as "BEHENJI", Cultured. A girl wearing jeans and tops is nothing but "SLUT", Attention Seeker. (Judging a person by the dress one wear) Acid attacks on women  leave her face unburnt and unrepairable for life. Also facing gender bias  in getting fewer...

Just a insight into a particular personality in society...

Introverts are lone wolfs, prefer solitude in their life. silence is the air they breathe, they are like cold deep oceans. They are like power plants, Always need some time alone to  recharge themselves. They won't talk much,  but they do  talk at right time, thinking before speaking up, it's like osmosis, one would get something  meaningful out of it. Not like adsorption, getting carried  away on the surface. But often misjudged in society as  "rude, arrogant, too boring to be with and antisocial", It just takes time for them to  connect. But once they connect with you, they are the most trustworthy person and deep thinkers you will  see. It's just that introverts and  extroverts are two personalities, Let's accept no one is superior and  inferior to another, Let's not judge and understand an introvert.
